Pepita Propella hails from a story called "Above the Skies" (story code D 9292) in a Danish extra-magazine, o. 7, from 1989.
While Donald and the boys help Scrooge tidy up his library, they find a picture of Pepita Propella. (Her name is a pun on an airplane propeller.) She was a stuntwoman in an airshow. It seems young Scrooge was once fond of this girl, but didn't have enough money to pay for a trip on her airplane. During an airshow in the Klondike, he was trying a stunt on the wing of her plane, but he fell off! Fortunately, he was okay, and found gold on the spot where he landed!
(Of course, airplanes hadn't been invented yet when the Klondike gold rush took place, so that makes the story rather...odd.)
Special thanks to Anders Christian Sivebęk for the info and scans!
