Kevin Anger's spot in Memorial High School history was assured on February 25th, 2005, when he scored the game-winning goal against North in overtime to send the Old Abes to the WIAA State Tournament. The veteran defenseman had an outstanding senior season and helped solidify the crop of younger "blue-liners." He also closed out his career by scoring a goal on his final shift against North in the WIAA Sectional Finals.
Kevin Anger sends a Husky over the boards
Kevin is continuing his hockey career in the Junior ranks He played in Alaska for a year and then moved to the Rochester, Minnesota juniors. The Minnesota Ice Hawks claimed the MJHL Championship in 2008. Anger had five goals and three assists for the Hawks.
