"Buck" was a co-captain and goalie on Eau Claire High's first varsity team. He also competed in football, track, intramural basketball, and archery. He was a Homecoming Attendant and a member of the Senior Class Committee. Buck joined the Marines after high school and attained the rank of SGT/E5. On August 24th, 1965, at the age of 26, he died serving our country in South Viet Nam.
