Guy Brown was an outstanding defenseman for Chippewa Falls High School in the mid '80's. He was an all-BRC performer who scored 26 goals and 35 assists for a total of 61 points in 77 games for the Cardinals. Both totals are school records for a defenseman. After serving as an assistant coach at Chippewa Falls in the mid '90's, Guy served a stint as an assistant at North before being named the Huskies' 4th Head Coach in 2008. After the 2009-10 season, Brown resigned at North and accepted a position as the head coach at Regis/McDonell. In 2012-14, he led the Saints to their best two seasons ever, going 44-7-1 and reaching the WIAA Sectional Finals both seasons. He resigned following the 2013-14 season.
He accepted a position as an assistant coach under Mike Collins at Memorial in 2020-21.
