Lukas was injured in the Abes' opening game of 2009-10, but battled his way back and skated a regular shift in the WIAA Playoffs. He was one of Memorial's co-captains. Lukas was a regular on the Abes' second line as a junior and was 6th on the team in scoring. He saw considerable varsity action as a sophomore. He scored his first varsity goal and added an assist on 1/8/08 against Hudson. In the Abes' first post-season game, he sparked them to a win over Park Falls with two goals and an assist. He added another goal in the playoff win over Rice Lake. Lukas' dad, Al Campbell, played for Eau Claire North in the mid-80's.
