Pete Carlson has followed up a good career in high school hockey with an extremely successful career in "the real world" of hockey. He is the Ice Operations and Programs Director for the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota. The Schwan Super Rink is the largest ice arena of its kind in the world. It  features eight sheets of ice under one roof, and a recent addition of four outdoor rinks.  The $21 million project totals over 300,000 square feet. Included in the arena is the 70 degree Hat Trick Café that overlooks four of the sheets, 32 oversized locker rooms, a pro shop, and extensive dryland training facilities for hockey and figure skating.

Pete was also a high school hockey coach in Minnesota for seven years, and a professional instructor for 13 years.
