Jim Cleasby was one-third of a potent scoring trio for "Porky" Madson's first Huskies' teams. Along with Terry Schmit and Mike Spears, the three combined for 193 points in North's first two seasons. That total represented 67% of North's scoring. Cleasby's final goal of '75-'76 was an overtime game-winner against Memorial. Although he played only two seasons, Cleasby is still in the Top 25 on the All-Time Scoring list at North. Penalty records are sketchy from the early years, but Cleasby did draw the first penalty ever on a North player and also had 24 minuutes of penalties in one game in the 1976-77 season opener.
