John was a star on some very good Huskies' teams, including one that made it to the WIAA State Semifinals. He was fast, a great stickhandler and skater and an intelligent passer. He closed out his career with a goal and two assists in the State Tournament, which tied him with Steve Blodgett for 2nd on the All-Time North scoring list. He is still in the Top 5.
