Jake "The Snake" Fleming was a tall, rangy goaltender who covered a lot of net and had a quick glove. He had a five-game unbeaten streak from January 31st to February 15th, 1997. He defeated Rice Lake and Eau Claire North each twice in his senior season. Both of the Rice Lake wins came in overtime. As proof that he was a clutch performer, Jake was 5-2-2 in overtime games.
