Ryan "Bungee" Goodmanson transferred from Amery-Clear Lake to North for his senior season and made a tremendous impact immediately. He teamed with Justin Johnson and freshman Derek Lund to form one of the most potent lines in Eau Claire hockey history. Together, the three combined for 73 goals and 155 points. Ryan's 11 power-play goals may be a school record. His 54 points are the 2nd-most ever, behind only teammate Justin Johnson's 63 points. Both forwards shattered Steve Blodgett's old record of 47 points. Although Ryan was ruled ineligible for the first 16 games of the season by the WIAA due to a misunderstanding of residency requirements, his individual records stand. Ryan was named to the 2nd All-Big Rivers Conference team by the league's coaches.
During his underclassmen days at Amery-Clear Lake, Ryan once scored a pure hat trick in 95 seconds.
"Bungee" was a favorite of the rabid "Husky Nation", even after his ineligibility ruling.
Ryan continued his hockey career in the Junior ranks. He played for the Minnesota Owls and the Kenai River (AK) Brown Bears of the NAHL. He is now playing college hockey at UW-River Falls. He was a member of the 2010 WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll. Check out his stats here.
