Jeff Gunderson was a diminutive dynamo who scored one of the most important goals in Memorial history, a game-winner with 9 seconds left in the WIAA State Tournament Quarterfinals against Hudson on March 5th, 1992. Gunderson also assisted on the other goal in the 2-1 win. Gunderson led Memorial in scoring in his senior year. His 22 assists that season are still among the all-time best. He has gone on to become a successful coach at the high school level.
