Andrew McCabe closed out a great career as the 8th-leading scorer in Eau Claire Memorial history. He closed out his high school career 4th on the all-time assist leaders' list, just one behind Jake Larson and Pat Graham. He captained an Old Abe team that went 19-2-2 on the ice. (Their official record was 6-17 due to forfeits.) He scored a "pure" hat trick and had four goals in one game against Rice Lake on December 2nd, 2004.
Andrew played two years of Juniors with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. He started his college career at Nebraska-Omaha and then transferred to UW-Eau Claire. He was a key member of the Blugold squad that won the school's first NCAA Title in Lake Placid, New York, in 2013. Check out his stats here.
