Brent Prescher was a starter in his senior season. The Abes only won three games, but they were 1-1-1 against crosstown rival Eau Claire North, with the loss coming in double overtime in the WIAA Tournament. Prescher also had an assist in his senior season, one of only six Abes' netminders to get on the scoresheet. He notched the only shutout of his career in a 1-0 win over St. Anthony, Minnesota, on December 15th, 1987.
