Nick was named to the All-Big Rivers Conference First Team in 2005-06. He missed most of the 2006-07 season after suffering a partial tear of his anterior cruciate ligament in a soccer game. He did recover in time to play a regular role for the North baseball team that made it to the WIAA State Tournament semifinals. Nick is among the top 25 scorers in Huskies' history. He is 3rd among defensemen, behind only Derrick La Point and Ryan Parker.
