Dawson plays the game like a coach's kid ... which makes sense, since he is former Memorial coach Mike Schwengler's youngest son. Dawson "sees the ice" well. He was a co-captain and a senior leader on the State-ranked 2016-17 Old Abes. Dawson has an extremely accurate shot. His older brother, Bret, was also an Abes' captain.
