Bill Sleep was living proof that there is room for the "little guy" in hockey. He led Eau Claire Memorial in scoring in their first three years of existence. He had a hat trick against Eau Claire North in his final game at Hobbs in an 8-7 overtime win in a wild WIAA Tournament game.
