INBAR TRUEFLIGHT.  Tall, muscular, dark-furred male otter. Son of Wallyum Rudderwake and Dorumee, brother of Winniegold, husband of Grath.  He carried a bow and red-feathered arrows.  He lived at Ruddaring all his life except for a journey to Sampetra to help Grath and Martin II overthrow Ublaz.   He was a peaceful creature who did not relish killing but could hold his own in battle.  (PL)

IRIS.  Female otter of Southsward.  Wife of Rab Streambattle.  She was a skilled archer and capable leader.  (BM)

IRONBEAK, GENERAL.  Male raven.  He was from the far north, where he was known as a fierce warlord.   He attempted to conquer Redwall Abbey but was killed by Stryk Redkite. (MT)

ISLAND OF WRECKED SHIPS.  Rocky island off Southsward where many vessels have been wrecked.  Wincey, Benjy, Figgs and Burrom were marooned here.  (BM)
