Great, famous Juska clan leader. His name means, "Mighty Warrior of our clan, the Taggerung." The name was also once applied to Deyna/Tagg by Sawney Rath. (TG)
ZASSALISS. Male adder. Son of Berrussca. Larger than his brother, Harssacss, and his sister, Sesstra. Wore the crown of Sarengo. He and his two siblings were permanently joined together near their tails by the mace and chain of Sarengo, after being trapped in it while barely half-grown. He was killed by Triss with the Sword of Martin the Warrior. (TS)
ZIGU. Tall, male Corsair ferret. He dressed plainly and prided himself on talking like a gentlebeast. He expertly wielded a basket-hilted rapier. He claimed to have killed his father. After he lost his ship on the rocks in a storm he and his crew wandered the coast of northwest Mossflower, eventually allying themselves with Swartt's horde. He challenged Swartt's authority. He was killed in a sword fight with Sabretache at Salamandastron. (OR)
ZIRAL. Female Marlfox. Daughter of Silth, sister of Mokkan, Gelltor, Ascrod, Vannan, Predak and Lantur. The first Marlfox to fall in battle with Redwallers. Killed by Janglur Swifteye. (MX)
ZURGAT. Large female Monitor lizard on Sampetra. She replaced Lask Frildur as Monitor General. She was killed by Grath and Inbar. (PL)
